Inclusion Advocacy SENB (IA SENB), a local Not-For-Profit, charitable association, dedicated to inclusive communities, protecting the rights and promoting the interests of individuals (from birth to seniors) with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in Southeast NB.

. . . is seeking a mature, responsible, engaging, and self-motivated individual, who values and understands inclusive communities, (where individuals with a disability are provided the right, opportunity, and support to follow the same path as those who do not have a disability – going to school, having friends, attending post-secondary education, working, and having valued roles in their community, to name a few), and has good decision-making, problem-solving, research, program development, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills for the position of a Research /Grant Writer.

Main accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals.
  • Determine proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal (RFPs), and attending strategy meetings.
  • Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.
  • Enter and monitor tracking data.
  • Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information, coordinating submissions and collections, and identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals.
  • Develop proposal by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation.

Position Information

This is a 8 week position.

WAGES: Contingent on education, skills, and experience.
